149 ships with agricultural products already left Ukrainian ports

Since the agreement between Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and the UN on the transportation of grain from Ukraine entered into force, 149 vessels with 3.4 million tonnes of agricultural products have left Ukrainian seaports.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post.

“A total of 149 ships with agricultural products left Ukrainian ports for countries in Asia, Europe and Africa,” the report reads.

It is noted that on September 16, four vessels carrying 69,600 tonnes of agricultural products left the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi.

In total, 3.4 million tonnes of agricultural products have been exported from Ukraine through seaports since the agreement entered into force.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 22, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and the United Nations signed an agreement unblocking grain exports from three Ukrainian ports – Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi.

The first ship loaded with Ukrainian grain left the port of Odesa on August 1.
