Patna: To facilitate the students passing the class 12 examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) the results of which have been published only recently, the core committee of state-level combined integrated BEd entrance examination, 2022 has decided to revise the schedule of examination.
According to the revised schedule, candidates seeking admission to the four-year integrated BA-BEd and BSc-BEd courses in the current academic session (2022-23) can submit their online applications for the entrance test without late fee on the official website (www.biharcetintbed-lnmu.in) till August 10. They can also apply with late fees on August 11 and 12.
State nodal officer of the combined entrance test, Arun Kumar Singh said the applicants can make necessary corrections in their online applications till August 12. Then, candidates would be able to download their admit cards from August 18 onward. The tentative date of the state-level entrance test is August 28 (Sunday).
According to the application fee fixed by Raj Bhavan, candidates belonging to the general category would have to deposit a sum of Rs 1000, while those belonging to EWS, women, EBC, and physically challenged categories would deposit Rs 750 only. And, candidates belonging to SC and ST categories need to deposit a sum of Rs 500 only. Singh pointed out that more than 10,000 candidates have already submitted their applications till Tuesday. The entrance test would be held in only two cities, namely, Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur.
The four-year integrated BEd course was introduced in the state in 2019 with the approval of the statutes relating to this course from the chancellor. However, only a few colleges have been able to conduct this course till date.
This year, admission to the integrated BEd course would be made against 100 seats each in only four colleges, namely, Basundhara Teachers’ Training College and Shahid Pramod BEd College at Muzaffarpur, Baidyanath Shukla College of Education, Vaishali, and Mata Sita Sundar College of Education, Sitamarhi.
