A year away from what’s sure to be a milestone 35th anniversary, the Air Jordan 3 has surfaced in compelling styles over the last eight months. For its latest proposition, Tinker Hatfield’s first design for Michael Jordan’s eponymous sneaker line has indulged in shimmering golden accents atop a classic “Black Cement” look.

Although to be offered exclusively in women’s sizing, the upcoming retro has garnered attention from all types of members from the sneaker-loving community for its mix of heritage with fashion-forward flair. “Black,” “Cement Grey” and “Fire Red” reprise their traditional roles, recreating the debut Jordan 3 style from 1988; “Metallic Gold” flair, however, enters the mix via the tongue, perforated panels along the tongue and underlays at the spine, breathing new life to the decades-old design. Lastly, all-“Black” branding at the spine delivers a compelling finish that further makes the women’s “Black Cement Gold” style fresh.
