What is the highest-value item in this collection?

Multiple high-value pieces are featured in this auction, each of which is fantastically unique in its own style, function and form. For example, the Industrial Hydraulic Dining Table (Lot 49), currently estimated at 5 lakhs, is a rare piece featuring a hydraulic pump pedal and the ability to rotate a full 360 degrees. There is also a rather striking set of Display Cabinets with Adjustable Round Tables (Lot 35) crafted by The Surgical Manufacturing Co Ltd, a company that specialised in medical equipment in the late 20th century. The piece is estimated at 3.5 lakhs, and you’d certainly want to keep an eye out for it. Similarly, the rather enchanting Seven-Light Candelabra (Lot 48), estimated at Rs 3 lakhs, boasts elaborate design elements and foliate patterns complete with a malachite base.

What kind of homes do you see these pieces making their way into?

Regardless of taste or preference, there is something for everyone.

The Design Sale auction will begin at 8 PM IST on November 23 and close at 8 pm on November 24. All bidding will take place at saffronart.com.
