applied marketing: More than 2,500 professionals trained in applied marketing, e-commerce: Digiaccel Learning

E-commerce and applied marketing academy Digiaccel Learning has enabled over 2,500 professionals to “accelerate” their careers by providing them necessary skilling for digital careers, the company has said.

Started by two ex-Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) executives Karan Bhagi and Aalekh Tripathi, the new-age education startup has also recently launched its own industry-backed business school in Gurugram that will provide courses of e-commerce and marketing. Their flagship post graduate program in ‘Applied Marketing’ seeks to position itself as an alternative to an MBA program and is meant for professionals wanting to build new-age careers in e-commerce, D2C, growth marketing, product management, etc.

“Today, India’s leading companies face a significant shortage of digital talent, while aspiring individuals yearn for opportunities in these organizations but often lack a clear path. Digiaccel Learning is dedicated to bridging this gap through specialized business education, fulfilling the dreams of students and early career professionals aiming to thrive in leading companies’ dynamic landscapes,” Bhagi, founder and CEO, said in a press note.

The applied marketing program is a year-long program that starts at the end of September and includes a three-month internship. The curriculum includes more than twenty workshops by industry leaders from companies like HUL, Mamaearth, Urban Company, etc. The company employs an “industry-backward” approach while an “application-first” pedagogy and industry mentors are other features of its programs that differentiates it from a traditional MBA program, it said. A graduate in the program can expect an yearly package of Rs 12 to 14 lakhs.

“Digiaccel Learning’s uniqueness lies in its ‘learning-by-doing’ pedagogy, industry-backed curriculum and the mentorship by industry experts. Our curriculum is designed by reverse-engineering the business decision making of some of the world’s top companies into relevant frameworks. These frameworks are taught by expert industry mentors from top companies and the learners get the chance to apply them to real business situations. This ensures that the learning is effective in creating genuine learner outcomes that allows them to be better professionals,” Aalekh Tripathi, co-founder and CMO, said.
