CAM advises on tech park buy – India

CAM advised Continental Automotive Components

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Continental Automotive Components (India) on the acquisition of Southgate Tech Park in Electronic City, Bengaluru, representing the largest buyout deal of ready commercial assets in 2022.

CAM’s real estate practice group advised Continental Automotive Components (India) and the transaction involved legal, technical and environmental due diligence, as well as advisory on the acquisition itself.

The transaction team was led by partner Abhilash Pillai, with support from partner Sharan Korea, senior associates Vidyavathi Kaushik and Lakshmi HS, associate Pavithra Rao, and consultants Mamatha A, and Manisha K R.

Continental Automotive is a multinational auto parts manufacturing company. The Southgate park spans 1 million square feet and is one of the largest of the company’s global R&D locations. The tech centre was inaugurated on 23 November 2022, and can house about 6,500 employees.
