DOT Region 7 Chief tourism operations officer Judy Dela Cruz-Gabato also thanked the full support from the stakeholder, especially private businesses who graced the opening of the job exposition.

“Now with this collaborative effort of the national government and, of course, our Local Government Units, the private sector, the DOT is very optimistic that the Philippines, particularity Cebu, can claim its position on the global space, jobs will be regained, and tourism-related enterprises will bounce back stronger than ever, sooner rather than later,” said Gabato.
