‘Cement in his feet’: O’Hara slams £42m Spurs player who should ‘never’ play for the club again

Tottenham Hotspur picked up a 4-3 win over Leeds United in the Premier League on Sunday.

Former Spurs player and pundit Jamie O’Hara has shared his reaction after the game and he slammed the Spurs defender Davinson Sanchez.

The £42m signing has not been a key player for Tottenham this season and he has started just six games in the Premier League this season. The 26-year-old came on as a substitute in the second half and he looked nervy at the back.

O’Hara claimed that Sanchez’s lack of mobility and decision-making against Leeds was poor and urged the club to not play him again.

He added that Sanchez plays with cement in his feet.

He told talkSPORT: “Sanchez should never ever be coming on the pitch again for Tottenham. He plays with cement in his feet.”

Tottenham were lucky to get away with a win against Leeds and they will need to improve defensively in order to finish in the top three this season.

Antonio Conte’s side have been quite vulnerable defensively this season and they cannot hope to win the major trophies with a porous back four.

Sanchez is currently the fourth-choice centre-back at the club behind Cristian Romero, Eric Dier and Clement Lenglet. It will be interesting to see if he decides to move on at the end of the season.

Sanchez needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and he will not get that opportunity at Spurs.
