According to Jhagrakhand Police, the victim is a resident of Paradol village, which comes under Manendragarh Tehsil in Korea district.

Jhagrakhand Station Officer Deepesh Saini told India Today that the incident took place on October 21 at the health centre which was closed early in the afternoon owing to the Diwali festival.

Saini also informed that the victim was released at around 5 pm on Friday and the accused threatened her not to inform anyone about the incident. However, after reaching home, she narrated the entire episode to her family, which then approached police and lodged the complaint.
