Synopsis
According to a model developed to track the outbreak, the trend in daily new confirmed Covid-19 cases shows that India may have peaked in September. There has been a reduction in new cases, and the doubling period has become longer. The recovery rate has improved, too. However, a decline may take time, and the risk of a second wave remains.
