The proportion of major banks, central banks, and non-bank competitors companies hiring for future of work related positions kept relatively steady in August 2022 compared with the equivalent month last year, with 62.2% of the companies included in our analysis recruiting for at least one such position.
This latest figure was higher than the 61.9% of companies who were hiring for future of work related jobs a year ago and an increase compared to the figure of 58.7% in July 2022.
When it came to the rate of all job openings that were linked to future of work, related job postings dropped in August 2022 from July 2022, with 4.8% of newly posted job advertisements being linked to the topic.
This latest figure was the lowest monthly figure recorded in the past year and is a decrease compared to the 5% of newly advertised jobs that were linked to future of work in the equivalent month a year ago.
