GENESEE COUNTY, MI — The Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission is warning of two fake Crossroad Village event pages created by hackers.

One fake event is advertised as Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic 2021 scheduled for June 29, the commission warned in a Monday, May 10 Facebook post.

There is also a fake event for a Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic drive-thru at 6 p.m. November 21.

“PLEASE do not be fooled by these pages,” the post states.

All official events will be posted on the Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission Facebook page and on the commission’s website.
