HSMAI 2022 Adrian Awards Open

The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is now accepting entries for the 2022 Adrian Awards. The 66th annual Adrians competition will recognize excellence in travel marketing. As the hospitality industry rebuilds and looks to the future, the Adrian Awards celebrate the innovative and creative work done by hotels, destinations, and their agency partners.

“HSMAI is proud to recognize the creative leaders of our industry. Their forward-thinking work challenges and inspires the industry,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO of HSMAI.

The Adrian Awards encompass four divisions: advertising, digital, public relations/communications, and integrated campaigns. This year, HSMAI has increased the number of categories to 42, providing a wide variety of opportunities for travel industry professionals and agencies to submit outstanding work.

This is a time of great change in the hospitality industry, and the Adrian Awards are embracing change with a focus on The Next Great Chapter which is about that feeling of joyful anticipation as the moments in your life build to a crescendo. The travel industry is thriving once more, emboldened by the adversity of the last few years. Together, we celebrate the triumphs of marquee moments that we’ve shared, big and small. At the same time, we open the doors for a future full of exploration and excitement. This year’s Focus Categories are:

  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Marketing
  • Recruitment Marketing
  • Audience Marketing on New Platforms

Adrian Award entries can be submitted from August 3 through September 30, 2022. Please note that all entries for the Adrian Awards must be submitted online.

Adrian Awards entries will be judged by a panel of advertising, digital, public relations and communications experts and leading members of the hospitality and travel industry. Professionals interested in being a judge must have at least eight years of hospitality, travel or tourism marketing, or specific media experience. Nominations are also being accepted for the 2022 class of HSMAI Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in sales, marketing, revenue optimization, and distribution. HSMAI also accepting nominations for Lifetime Achievement Awards in marketing and public relations.
