Icy roads contribute to semi mishap near MacGregor –

Just before 5 p.m. this evening the MacGregor fire department responded to a semi-trailer on its side in the ditch near the community. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported in the single-vehicle incident.

Freezing rain fell all around the area on Wednesday and many road surfaces are still showing ice-covered and slippery sections. Conditions are expected to clear tonight after a few flurries today and the sun should make an appearance for a good part of the day tomorrow. No snow or freezing rain is expected through the weekend and temperatures for the most part should be slightly above average for the time of year.
