AHMEDABAD: Direct air connectivity to international destinations improved at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport in Ahmedabad in 2023.
According to data by SVPI airport operator, Fly Baghdad, Thai AirAsia, Malaysian Airlines and VietJet among others began operating from Ahmedabad providing direct air connectivity.
“Viet Jet connects two destinations in Vietnam with daily direct flights from Ahmedabad. Fly Baghdad connects Ahmedabad directly to Najaf by operating twice a week.
Thai AirAsia connects to Don Nueang thrice a week. Additionally, other airlines increased their frequency and routes during this year. Malaysia Airlines launched a direct flight to Kuala Lumpur that operates four times a week,” said the city airport operator.
