When we are brought up in dysfunctional homes, we deal with a lot of traumas from childhood. Sometimes the inner child wounds also show up in adulthood. “Our wounded parts are always seeking redemption for their wounds— these parts show up in similar ways as they may have during the original events, often with similar type of people, hoping for the desired outcome the younger you needed at the time.
