Instashield to set up manufacturing plant in UP with Rs 20 Cr investment

Hyderabad-based health-tech startup Instashield India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UP government to set up a manufacturing plant in the State with an investment of Rs 20 crore. The health-tech company manufactures devices called Instashield, known for killing all kinds of viruses, including the coronavirus with an efficacy of 99.9%.

The startup already has a manufacturing unit in Hyderabad since March 2022. The device manufactured by Instashield works on negative ion technology, approved by the Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology, which helps combat the viruses without causing any harm to the human body. It is a plug-n-play device used in closed spaces of 5,000 sq. ft. Once installed, it gets activated iwithn 18 minutes.

Hitesh M. Patel, Promoter & Director, Instashield India said, “We will soon set up a manufacturing unit in UP and aim to create job opportunities for the inhabitants of the State. Instashield currently has a product which works in closed spaces of 5,000 sq. ft. With new technological innovations happening in our product, we plan to come up with a customised product which can be used at bigger spaces such as a cinema hall, as well as small spaces like the cars. These products will be manufactured at both our units, Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh.”
