Featuring close to 300 exhibitors from Hong Kong, China, Japan and the US, JGW presents some of the very best in fine jewellery; loose diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls; lab-grown diamonds; designer jewellery; silver jewellery; timepieces; tools and packaging solutions, and gemmological services. Visitors will likewise get the chance to shop for rare and superbly crafted high jewellery collections and investment-quality gemstones from iconic and industry-leading suppliers at the Premier Pavilion; procure a wide array of jadeite jade products, including the much-loved bangles, beads and cabochons, at the Fei Cui Gallery, and discover unique and one-of-a-kind pieces at the Designer Arena.

JGW comes on the heels of the highly successful Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong Special Edition (JGA) in June, which saw a 40% increase in attendance over the previous year. In 2021, the September show drew more than 13,000 unique visitors who made close to 15,500 trips to the exhibition across four days.

With Hong Kong’s mandatory hotel quarantine requirement for international arrivals still in place, the special-edition fair, although projected to draw a more local audience, is positioned to serve the long-term interest of industry stakeholders, said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery

“The fair’s creative format ensures that jewellery — the most intimate and fascinating of all the decorative arts — remains top of mind for consumers everywhere, and even more so in Hong Kong, which is the epicentre of the global jewellery trade,” Lau said. “We believe in the future of our industry, and based on the market’s overwhelmingly positive feedback to our special-edition fairs, we are confident that the jewellery world has a sparkling future ahead of it.”

The full-scale version of JGW will return to Hong Kong in September 2023.
