Mykolaiv ports will be able to join the “grain deal” when the front line moves significantly in favor of Ukrainian forces.

Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said this at a briefing at the Ukraine – Ukrinform Media Center on September 15, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Mykolaiv ports cannot now join the ‘grain deal’ as hostilities continue nearby. It will be possible to talk about this only when the front line moves significantly in our favor,” said Kim.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 22, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and the United Nations signed an agreement unblocking grain exports from three Ukrainian ports – Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi.
