Major Port Cultural Meet ends

The four-day 22nd All India Major Port Cultural Meet 2022-23 held at the Jayadev Sadan here concluded on Sunday. The Paradip Port Authority (PPA) along with the nMajor Ports Sports Control Board successfully organised the extravaganza. 

At the valedictory function, chief guest PPA Deputy Chairman AK Bose said the event reflected unity in diversity of Indian culture. The individual ports showcased the rich culture of the States they represented. IFFCO Unit head KJ Patel and Paradip Ladies’ Club vice-president Suchismita Bose were guests of honour.

Team PPA was crowned as the overall champion. The Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port won the runners-up and the Mumbai Port Authority the 2nd runners-up award.

Bikram Parida of PPA bagged the Best Actor and Biranchi of PPA the Supporting Artist (Male) award.
