New Delhi: Mensa Brands, a D2C House of Brands has raised Rs 300 crore debt from TradeCred, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

Mensa plans to use the funds for new brand acquisitions as well as brand growth including product development, supply chain integration, and working capital investment, it said.

“We are pioneering the path to an industry-first tech-led house of brands with our five breakout category leaders. With this additional capital, we will be able to double down on our growth ambition,” commented Ananth Narayanan, founder & CEO, Mensa Brands.

Narayanan is the former Myntra CEO.

Launched in 2021, Mensa has 25 brands across fashion, home, beauty, and FMCG under its portfolio. It builds digital-first brands by partnering and investing in the business, and bringing expertise and technology to scale the brands.

The company last year in December acquired online lifestyle publications MensXP, iDiva, and influencer marketing management firm Hypp from Times Internet.

The brand aggregator became Asia’s fastest unicorn within 6 months of its launch. It is backed by investors such as Accel Partners, Falcon Edge Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Prosus, and Tiger Global Management.
