Hyderabad: City-based technology-led microinsurance company, MicroNsure Consultancy Private Limited has bagged its first national award.
The startup received the National Startup Award 2022 in the Fintech (Insurance) category from Startup India and DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Kamalakar Sai, the Founder and Group CEO of MicroNsure accepted the award from Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry at a ceremony in New Delhi to mark National Startup Day and Innovation Week 2023.
“This recognition motivates us to strive harder and faster to spread financial literacy and help bring inclusive insurance to the financially weaker section of our society, those who need it the most,” the Founder said.
The CEO further said that MicroNsure aims to expand its reach to other States in the country. Also, “through the startup we are looking at providing financial service to the socio-economically vulnerable customers so that they can achieve financial security,” he added.
