Tata Consultancy Services said on Thursday that it has launched a TCS Neural Manufacturing suite of solutions on the newly-launched Microsoft Cloud for manufacturing.

The cloud combines various Microsoft technologies, linked by a common data model to build resiliency and sustainability through operational visibility, data integration, and digital collaboration.

The TCS Neural Manufacturing suite of solutions includes products like clever energy, cognitive plant operations adviser, and digital manufacturing solutions. TCS showcased these solutions with Microsoft at Hannover Messe 2023 in Germany, demonstrating how manufacturers can create boundaryless business models, seamless customer experiences, and optimised value chains.

“With Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing, we are bringing together our deep expertise and industry-leading portfolio of industrial IoT and engineering solutions in the TCS Neural Manufacturing suite to help our customers future-proof their manufacturing operations and drive competitive differentiation,” said Sreenivasa Chakravarti, global head, IoT and digital engineering, TCS.

TCS’ Microsoft Business Unit (MBU) works with customers worldwide to accelerate their cloud transformation journey and is composed of 50,000 Microsoft-certified associates.

“Manufacturing transformation is being accelerated by connected solutions like TCS Neural Manufacturing solutions integrated with the Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing and utilising edge compute, 5G, cloud and AI capabilities. Azure services bring simplicity to deliver and manage the solution at scale,” said Dominik Wee, corporate vice president, manufacturing and mobility industry, Microsoft.
