Fashion ecommerce company Myntra said it is integrating generative AI chatbot ChatGPT on its app for better product discovery.
MyFashionGPT will scout through catalogues available on Myntra to give users a better option for their queries, the company said.
“Many times people are figuring out in their own mind as to what they need for a certain look or an occasion and then search for individual products. For example, I want a saree, blouse, jhumkas, red lipstick, sandals for a wedding. But now with MyFashionGPT, everything is coming under just one search: “What to wear for a wedding?” Myntra said in a statement.
For example, customers can search for numerous scenarios, including looks based on local or global destinations, such as a trip to Manali in December, social events such as weddings or haldi ceremony, celebrity styling ideas such as Tom Cruise’s look in Mission Impossible, pairing ideas such as what to wear with pink Lehenga, etc.
Based on the nature of the query, customers will be shown up to six ensemble options, including products across multiple categories from topwear, bottomwear, footwear and accessories to makeup, Myntra said.
