Oracle Financial Services Software Q4 net income jumps 71% yoy to Rs460cr

Oracle Financial Services Software Limited, a majority owned subsidiary of Oracle, on Wednesday announced results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2021.

On a consolidated basis, for the quarter ended March 31, 2021, net income of the company was Rs460cr, up 71% as compared to Rs269cr in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year. The operating income for the quarter was up 13% year-over-year to Rs560.9cr from Rs498.3cr in Q4FY20, while the revenue was down 4% yoy to Rs1,210.9cr in Q4FY21 from Rs1,263.6cr in Q4FY20.

The net income for fiscal year 2021 was Rs1,762cr, up 20% compared to Rs1462cr in fiscal year 2020. Revenue for fiscal year 2021 was Rs4,984cr, up 3% compared to Rs4,861.3cr in fiscal year 2020. Operating income for fiscal year 2021 was Rs2,345cr, up 13% compared to Rs2075cr in fiscal year 2020.

For the full year ended March 31, 2021, the products business posted revenue of Rs4,425cr, up 3% compared to fiscal year 2020, and operating income of Rs2,382cr, up 12% yoy. For the same period, the services business posted revenue of Rs423cr, down 1% yoy, and the operating income of Rs88cr, up 13% yoy.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2021, the products business posted revenue of Rs1,074cr, down 5% as compared to corresponding quarter in fiscal 2020 and an operating income of Rs558cr representing an operating margin of 52%. The Services business delivered an operating income of Rs27cr with an operating margin of 27%.

The Board of Directors of the Company has declared an Interim Dividend of Rs200 per equity share of face value of Rs5/- each for the financial year 2020-21.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Oracle Financial Services Software Chet Kamat, said, “Our investments in the product portfolio has helped us build a strong pipeline. For the full year, we posted 20% growth in net income and operating income grew 13% as compared to the previous year. We signed US$ 14.7 million of new license fees in the quarter, representing strategic new logos across the portfolio. Despite the uncertain business environment, we continue to see broad-based demand for our product lines from both emerging and developed markets.”

At around 10.09 am, Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd was trading at Rs3488.55 per piece down Rs55.00 or 1.55% from its previous closing of Rs3,543.55 per piece on the BSE.
