OSSSC 2023: Applications open for the post of Junior Assistant and Panchayat Executive Officer; check for more details

The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has invited applications for the posts of Junior Assistant (5396) and Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO). Those interested in applying for the positions should apply online through the official website, www.osssc.gov.in.

The last date to apply for the posts is 27th March. This recruitment drive will fill 5396 vacancies in the organization.

Junior Assistant: 3099 posts
Panchayat Executive Officer: 2297 posts

Salary:
Junior Assistant: Rs 19900-63200, pay matrix level-4 cell-01
Panchayat Executive Officer: Rs 21700-69100, pay matrix level-5 cell-01

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates should be between the ages of 21 years and 38 years as on January 1, 2023. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualifications:
Junior Assistant: Candidates should have passed +3 pass in Arts/ Science/ Commerce with computer skills.
Panchayat Executive Officer: Candidates should have passed +2 (12th standard) pass in any discipline.

Steps to apply for OSSSC 2023 recruitment

• Click on “Apply Online”
• Click on New User and register
• Log in to the portal and fill up the application form
• Submit the form and upload documents if asked
• Take a printout for future reference.

The applicants for the posts will be shortlisted on the basis of the written exam followed by a practical test. The written exam will consist of 180 questions of 1 mark each. The test will be held for a duration of 3 hours. The practical test will be basic computer skill test with 50 marks of 1 hour duration.
