Yebo Fresh, a B2B e-commerce company focused on the distribution of groceries in townships, has secured a R78 million investment, allowing it to expand, build infrastructure, create jobs, and offer more support to the more than 7 500 traders on their database.

Yebo Fresh was started in Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay, Cape Town, four years ago. In April 2021, it opened a warehouse in Johannesburg and began serving the Gauteng region. Currently, it delivers to more than 25 townships in the greater Cape Town and Johannesburg areas.

From three staff members working from a Hout Bay garage, the team has grown to more than 75 members.
