Vijayawada: A railway head constable, who took voluntary retirement about 45 days ago, committed suicide in his railway quarters in Piduguralla on Thursday night. Police said the deceased, Satya Vardhan, hanged himself from the ceiling. He was reportedly depressed due to family quarrels and debts. A case has been registered and investigation is on. TNN
