Roads To Peace, formerly the Clinton County Women’s Center, got a landscaping makeover this summer, thanks to local resident Isaiah Nearhoof and his Boy Scout Troop. Nearhoof, 18, restored the landscaping in front of the building, beautifying the property along the sidewalk. Nearhoof is a member of Boy Scout Troop 86. Before they can attain the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest possible rank, scouts must perform a project that benefits the community. Other members of Troop 86 pitched in and participated in the project. Nearhoof’s mother, Lacey Miller, works for Roads To Peace as a Legal Counselor and advocate.
