Jamshedpur, Sep21: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated International Day of Peace focusing on the theme for 2022 “End Racism, Build Peace.”
Students from class V to IX expressed their ideas on Peace through activities like slogan writing and poster making, which were displayed in the school premises.
Students of Std IX participated in the Intra–School PPT presentation contest on the topic ‘War and Peace’.
A beautiful dance depicting harmony in nature was performed and songs on peace and brotherhood were presented.
The programme drew to its close with Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury’s speech.
Since 1981, the International Day of Peace has been observed around the world to uphold the ideal of peace. The United Nations General Assembly declared 21st September as International Peace Day.
