Siemens Healthineers Forges Alliance With IISc HCG Narayana Health

The collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), India‘s premier institute for advanced scientific and technological research and education, aims to drive research and co-creation of technologies that improve imaging, and address access to care. Speaking about the partnership, Prof. Govindan Rangarajan, Director, IISc said

Siemens Healthineers Friday announced strategic partnerships with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd (HCG), and Narayana Health (NH). “These partnerships are big steps in making India an innovation center. The company continues to build on its committed investment of INR 1,300 crores (€160 million) to establish a new campus housing research and development, manufacturing, and sales, and an innovation center,” the company said in a statement.

“India is a strategic market for Siemens Healthineers and it plays an important role in global innovation and technology expansion to achieve the future of healthcare,” says Peter Schardt, chief technology officer, Siemens Healthineers.
