Signature Acquisitions, one of the region’s most active and prestigious owners/managers of Class A suburban office space, announces it negotiated over 60,000 square feet of new, expanded and renewed office space leases across its New Jersey portfolio during the fourth quarter of 2022. This activity caps a strong year of leasing activity for Signature Acquisitions, which saw over 200,000 square feet of leasing within its New Jersey office portfolio.

Signature continues to achieve success in navigating one of the most challenging office markets in recent memory, resulting from its commitment to offering superior properties in strategic locations, while maintaining and managing them with a focus on tenant satisfaction.

Showcasing Signature’s continuing success in a challenging office market are several new, expanded or renewed leases with several prestigious companies, including the recent 27,000 square foot lease with nationally-prominent Turtle & Hughes, one of the nation’s leading electrical and industrial distributors, serving multiple industries from commercial real estate through utilities and infrastructure. Turtle & Hughes will relocate its corporate headquarters to Signature’s 100 Walnut Avenue property in Clark, N.J.

In addition, 100 Walnut Avenue saw significant additional activity, with new leases inked for 6,050 square feet by the medical office of Joseph D. Alkon, M.D., who specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as a 3,626 square foot lease to Decker Associates, an insurance broker.

Located off the Garden State Parkway at Exit 135, 100 Walnut Avenue offers convenient access to the greater metropolitan area, and boasts superior tenant amenities, including an on-site full-service cafeteria, shared conference facility and first class on-site property management and ownership.

Additionally, Signature Acquisitions reports approximately 19,000 square feet of office leases, expansions and renewals over the fourth quarter of 2022 in their Garden State Parkway portfolio, led by a 6,491 office space renewal by Ascend Hospice at 65 Jackson Drive. Two new leases were executed at 20 Commerce Drive, the signature high-visibility property within Parkway Commerce Center, including a 4,699 square-foot lease to the law firm of Stern & Eisenberg, as well as a 3,045 square foot lease to Cifrodello Law. A new 2,244 square foot lease was also completed at 11 Commerce Drive for AEI Environmental. Renewing their leases in Parkway Commerce Center were Kowabunga Transportation, in addition to the accounting firm of Weinstein & Spellman and Rhythm Medical.

Boulevard Plaza at 1055 Parsippany Boulevard in Parsippany saw new leases inked with Alfvo IT Solutions and the investment advisory firm of Anthony Megaro, in addition to a lease renewal with New Jersey Battered Women’s Service.

“The office space market throughout the country remains challenging in the aftermath of the COVID pandemic, given current inflationary pressures and an evolving remote work environment, but nonetheless, we have realized significant leasing activity across our New Jersey portfolio,” notes Sandy Monaghan, SVP, Director of Leasing at Signature Acquisitions. “We remain confident that employers will continue to place value in well located, quality office space for their employees. We at Signature Acquisitions are committed to offering a superior product for companies and their employees to help them to succeed and to prosper.”
