SISTec Civil Engg branch students grab skilling & training on DGPS

Sagar Group’s NBA &NAAC accredited Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) conducted a special training session on Differential Global Positioning Systems (DGPS) for its Civil Engineering branch students.

The special training session was conducted with an aim to enhance the Global Positioning System with improved location accuracy. Earlier, this year SISTec Civil Engineering students attained skilling on the recent trends in Earthquake Resistant Design of Buildings alongwith the preparation of Floating Concrete Blocks. SISTec Civil Engineering students witnessed the presence of 23 companies during campus visits offering 77% placements to its students.

Companies visiting the Department of Civil Engineering campus drive include L&T, UltraTech Cement, ACC,Strata Geosystems, Sobha Developers etc. with Ultratech Cement offering the highest package of 6 Lacs per annum. SISTecalso registered Magnificent Placement with 200+ Companies visiting the campus offering 1100+ Job to SISTec studentswith the highest package of 25.5 lacs per annum by Flipkart. SISTec has been rated with AAA ratings by Career 360 and has bagged the prestigious ASSOCHAM Award for the “Excellence in Providing Preferred Environment for Placements of the Year in Central India.”.

It has also featured in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA-2021) setup by MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Ministry of Education, Government of India and All India Council for Technical Education and has bagged the Employability Award 2022 by AMCAT SHL.
