WORCESTER — Leominster-based manufacturer Solvus Global was nominated for Manufacturer of the Year during the seventh annual Manufacturing Award Ceremony at Worcester’s Polar Park.

Solvus Global was nominated by Sen. John J. Cronin (D-Lunenburg) for their work in advanced manufacturing.

The Manufacturing Award Ceremony is hosted by the Legislature’s Manufacturing Caucus. Formed in 2014, the Manufacturing Caucus is made up of more than 60 state legislators and aims to increase access to training for manufacturing employees, help start-ups access resources and expand apprenticeship opportunities in key manufacturing sectors.
