In a shocking turn of events, Sunny Hostin has come up with a plan to bring Meghan McCain back to television. But not just any television show—Hostin wants McCain to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Hostin, a co-host on The View, made the suggestion during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. While defending her show against McCain’s recent criticisms of its “toxic workplace,” Hostin suggested that McCain try her hand at reality TV.
“Meg and I have always been friendly,” Hostin said. “I think you should hire her for one of the Housewives franchises. She’d be great on Potomac or any of them.”
Cohen seemed to agree with the idea, but McCain herself may not be so keen on the suggestion. In a scathing column for the Daily Mail, McCain recently called The View “toxic” and said there was “nothing on God’s green earth that could convince me to ever walk on to that set again.”
It remains to be seen whether McCain will take Hostin’s advice and give reality TV a shot. But one thing is for sure—this feud between former co-hosts is far from over.
