The Little Bar Cart – Winner of TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY AWARD at the 29th Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards

In front of an audience of over 360 attendees, The Little Bar Cart was one of the many Western Australian small business winners in the 29th Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards 2022 on Wednesday, 26th of October 2022. Held in the ballroom of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the ‘Night of Stars Event’ celebrated excellence in business and community achievement.

 

The welcome address was delivered by City of Belmont Mayor, Cr Phil Marks, together with our MC’s for the evening, Member for Belmont, Cassie Rowe MLA, and Belmont BEC Inc. Patron Louise Percy. Entertainment was provided by Kaylene Taylor, with Welcome to Country by Daniel Garlett. The WA Designer Showcase Fashion Parade featured stunning local designs from CIZZY Bridal Australia, Silver Star Designs, Jilalga Designs, Afrojordan Boutique and Miss Scarlett.

 

The Little Bar Cart began in Perth in 2016, by Perth born entrepreneur Pippa Candido. What began as a unique, custom-built drinks cart modelled on a vintage car to service weddings in Perth, has since expanded rapidly to cater for all occasions, and not just local and national events, but internationally in the USA and Canada as well!

 

The Little Bar Cart was also inducted into Awards ‘Hall of Fame’. In 2020, Pippa Candido, The Little Bar Cart was awarded The Innovation Award and in 2021 awarded The International Trade Award, now in 2022 with their 3rd small business award, The Little Bar Cart enters the Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards ‘Hall of Fame’.
