KUALA LUMPUR: Companies which could see trading ideas on Monday include Apex Healthcare
, Handal Energy, Mestron and Netx, says JF Apex Research.
Apex Healthcare has inked an agreement with Innova Bio-Medical Pte Ltd to supply the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine to private healthcare practitioners in Singapore.
Handal Energy has received a contract extension from SEA Hibiscus Sdn Bhd for the provision of offshore crane maintenance services.
As for XL Holdings, it has proposed to acquire a 100% stake in Ergobumi Sdn Bhd for RM40mi. Ergobumi, which has been profitable for the last three financial years, is involved in growing pineapples.
JF Apex Research said Mestron has signed a share sale agreement with Maxcom Engineering Sdn Bhd to acquire 100% of Liziz Biogas Sdn Bhd for RM3mil. Liziz is involved in the generation of biogas electric energy.
It also noted that Berjaya Assets disposed of 6.04 million shares or a 0.54% stake in its sister company 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd on Sept 2.
Bioalpha has called off a deal it entered into in January to distribute Covid-19 vaccines in Malaysia. The group said it has mutually agreed to terminate the agreement with Shanghai Bukun Trading Co Ltd (SBTC) with immediate effect.
NetX Holdings is acquiring the holding companies of six retail units in Sungei Wang Plaza that have court settlement liabilities of RM32.8mil for a nominal sum of RM20.
