Lower Allen Township-based Vibra Healthcare, which owns, operate and manages more than 45 specialty hospitals, transitional care facilities, and hospital-based outpatient physical therapy locations in 14 states, has launched a new business to help with healthcare staffing.

Vibra Travels, a travel nursing and healthcare staffing business was launched earlier this month. Vibra Travels originated last year as an internal service, hiring traveling clinicians to work directly at Vibra Healthcare’s facilities.

The company is focused on the hiring and placement of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and respiratory therapists.

“Fueled by nationwide staffing shortages and steadily increasing interest in travel nursing opportunities among job seekers, Vibra Travels grew rapidly and recently celebrated its expansion to serve external clients,” the company said in a news release.
