Railway Ministry has debunked a fake job recruitment notice. Railway Protection Force, RPF constable notification was circulated claiming to offer jobs against 19800 posts. Press Information Bureau, PIB issued a statement and rejected the railway recruitment claims and stated that Railway Ministry has not issued any such notification on the website.
PIB Release clarifies, “A fictitious message is being circulated on social media and newspapers regarding recruitment for 19800 posts of Constable in Railway Protection Force (RPF). It is hereby informed that no such notification has been issued by RPF or Ministry of Railways on their official websites or through any print or electronic media.”

Further Railways have urged all the candidates to ignore such railway recruitment notifications. “It is to reiterate that the news is fake and should be ignored by all,” stated RRB.

It is advised that candidates should only follow the recruitment notices issued on the official website of RRBs. Recruitment notices via any other sources must also be cross-checked through the official website.

Prior to this, another bizarre recruitment scam was highlighted wherein 28 job seekers were duped of TTE jobs at NDLS. Each candidate had to pay money ranging from 2 lakh to 24 lakhs making this scam worth over Rs 2.5 crore.

RRB website states, “Any Information/Notices being circulated in the social media regarding RRBs may please be ignored. Beware of touts & job racketeers trying to deceive by false promises of securing job in Railways either through influence or by use of unfair means.”
