In the snippet, the Prime Minister recalled the three marvels of engineering and architecture, namely, Kailashnath Temple in Maharashtra, Brihadisvara Temple in Tamil Nadu and Rani ki Vav in Gujarat.
PM Modi also shared his experience as a volunteer after the 2001 Gujarat Earthquake where he came across a house which remained untouched by the Kutch earthquake. As per the residents of the house, the structure of the house was built by engineers keeping in mind the local conditions of the land as a result, the house survived 3 such devastating earthquakes.
He paid tribute to Sir M Visvesvaraya and asked engineers today to keep him in mind as an important role model as his innovation created the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam in Cauvery. He further encouraged engineers to think of the future of the country.
