GANDHINAGAR: The state government on Thursday sanctioned Rs 484 crore for development works in three cities — Gandhinagar, Surat and Vadodara. A total of 424 projects will be completed in these three cities with the fund, according to an official statement released on Thursday.
A sum of Rs 360.06 crore has been sanctioned for works in Surat, Rs 66.95 crore for Gandhinagar, and Rs 56.70 crore has been sanctioned for projects in Vadodara. The sanctioned amount will be used for providing infrastructure facilities in cities and their outgrowth areas.
