ALAMO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BETA Healthcare Group (BETA) announced today that Abiy Moges, CPA has been named Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Moges will oversee all aspects of finance and accounting for BETA Healthcare Group and its affiliated companies, BETA Risk Management Authority and Health Providers Insurance Reciprocal, RRG.

Moges most recently held the position of CFO and Treasurer at Lawyers’ Mutual Insurance Company, where he was responsible for accounting, finance, audits, tax and treasury, financial risk management and ensuring that all financial frameworks aligned with the organization’s overall mission and strategy. Previously, he was an Audit Manager at JLK Rosenberger LLP, where he specialized in audits of property and casualty insurance companies, managing general agents, risk retention groups and not-for-profits.
