Sportswear giant Adidas has launched its very first immersive Terrex store in Vancouver, Canada. Adidas Terrex, the company’s outdoor-specific brand, promises to provide ‘greater accessibility and inclusion in nature’ for activities such as climbing, trail running, mountain biking, skiing and other outdoor sports with clothing that ‘inspires outdoor adventure’.

Terrex is Adidas’s outdoor/adventure line that includes apparel, gear and footwear for trail running, mountaineering and more.

Terrex Free Hiker, Xploric outerwear and the Agravic trail line are some of its most popular products among consumers.

“The Terrex store is something we are thrilled to bring to Vancouver and Canada,” said Lesley Hawkins, Vice President of Retail at Adidas Canada, in a press release adding, “As a brand attuned to the harsh conditions of the outdoors, we couldn’t think of a region better suited than Vancouver to start our journey. It’s an opportunity to give local outdoor lovers access to the Adidas Terrex products they’ve been waiting for.”

The store features a footwear wall with a digital screen showcasing the best of Terrex products, an immersive canopy with live plants and textured pebble flooring for testing, all of which contribute to the store’s overall goal of providing customers with a memorable experience before, during and after their time spent outdoors.

“The Kitsilano Terrex store integrates nature into a retail setting. The area highlights Adidas’ dedication to innovation and sustainability by utilising cutting-edge materials and technology,” said Lesley.

There is also a discovery zone in the store where the customer can know more about Adidas’s ongoing and upcoming initiatives.
