In its many decades of operation, the Jordan Brand division of Nike has introduced some of footwear’s most iconic looks. For 2023, it combines two of these elements with the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette being joined by the Air Jordan 3’s adored elephant print. While not the first time these two designs have met, as 2016 saw white and black “Elephant” colorways launch, this is the debut of Jordan Brand’s “White Cement” treatment on the Air Jordan 1 High.
Spotted via first and close looks previously, this presentation of the sneaker notably combines a traditional white leather base with gray elephant print overlays. Black continues the monochromatic outfitting of the shoe at the leather Swooshes, laces, Wings logo and collar while a gray rubber outsole rests beneath a “Sail” midsole to complete the look.
As of now, Nike has yet to share any release information for the Air Jordan 1 High OG “White Cement.” Currently, it is rumored to drop on February 25 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $180 USD. Stay tuned for official details from the Swoosh as we enter the new year.
In other footwear news, elephant print also makes an appearance on the Air Jordan 3 “Reimagined,” a modern colorway paying homage to the original Air Jordan 3 “White Cement.”
