KOCHI: The Cial registered a net profit of Rs 265.08 crore during the 2022-23 fiscal. The gross revenue of the firm during the period is Rs 770.91 crore, which is an all-time high.
The Cial mopped up Rs 478.22 crore through rights issue during the fiscal, officials informed after the annual general body meeting of the firm held on Monday.
Speaking at the annual general body meeting, the chief minister who is the chairman of the Cail said that the firm targets a revenue of Rs 1,000 crore during the current fiscal. “The meeting approved the recommendation by the director board that 35% of the net profit should be distributed among the shareholders. The share of Kerala government in Cial has risen to 33%,” said an official. tnn
