TIRUPATI: Denizens of the temple city of Tirupati struggled to travel along the low lying colonies in the city which were once again waterlogged due to a brief spell of rain on Thursday evening.
Normalcy is yet to be restored in this world renowned city of temples which is being pounded by back to back rains during the last one month.
While flood waters in several colonies were receding after a brief respite from the showers during the last one week after the city received very heavy rains on November 18-19, fresh rains on Thursday evening added to the woes of the locals of the city, who have almost remained indoors for the last one week.
Anxiety and fear have gripped the denizens of the city as more severe rains are predicted to impact the city during the last week of November.
