Kam Patel is Vice President of Data Center Market Development. He has been with CommScope for more than 30 years in a variety of Business Development, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Product Management and Strategy roles and has authored numerous articles, white papers, and presentations on the design of telecommunications and data networks. Kam has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont and holds more than 20 patents for network equipment.


David Hessong
Corning

David Hessong is the Manager of Global Data Center Market Development for Corning. During his career with Corning, he has held positions in Engineering Services, Product Line Management, and Market Development.

Dave has published numerous industry articles and has contributed to several technical conference proceedings. He has taught classes and seminars on data centers and system design across North America.

Dave received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business.


Mike Hughes

Mike Hughes is the Vice President of Product Management at US Conec Ltd. He has over 27 years of experience in copper and fiber optic connectors and cabling products. Mike has held engineering and commercial positions in high density optical interconnect technology for 20 years.

Mike has served as US National Committee contributing expert to IEC SC86B and has presented technical advancements in the field of optical connectors at conferences worldwide.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
