BTEC Seminar Series: Global Vaccine Manufacturing

Matthew Downham,  the sustainable manufacturing lead for the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, will be the guest speaker at the upcoming Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center seminar. He will discuss “Addressing Global Vaccine Manufacturing to Prepare for Future Disease Outbreaks.”

Downham has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry since 1997. He has worked for Protherics and AstraZeneca, both in the United Kingdom, Bavarian Nordic and MorphoSYS, both in Germany, and Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics in Italy. Downham has worked on pre and early clinical development of vaccine, antibody and enzyme therapies for infectious, hypertension inflammatory and oncology indications.
