AGARTALA: The ministry of DoNER has approved five infrastructure projects worth Rs 716 crore for Tripura, CM Manik Saha said on Saturday.
It has allocated Rs 121 crore for a drug de-addiction centre at Bishramganj in Sepahijala district, Rs 192 crore for a 200-bed women and child care unit at Agartala Govt Medical College, and Rs 202 crore for Agartala Government Dental College, he added.
Saha said he inaugurated a 50-bed field hospital and OT complex of Amarpur subdivisional hospital in Gomati district equipped with modern facilities on Friday, fulfilling the long-standing aspirations of the people, as his government would not compromise on the quality of healthcare services.
