Commissioner Court Boice gives a check to Port of Brookings-Harbor’s Danielle King. Boice stated, “We’re very proud of our Curry County port facilities. They are three of the most unique ports on the entire Oregon Coast and some say even most special to the Western U.S. They are often under funded so any help going their way are valuable resources wisely spent. Our Curry ports are well managed, very important to our local economies, and each is supported by a dedicated board of port commissioners. They all deserve appreciation.”  Each port received $50,000 for their various infrastructure projects. Also receiving funds for the Port of Gold Beach was interim Gold Beach Port Manager Bill McNair and Port of Port Orford Manger Pat Cox.
